Little Tita’s Sweets is more than just a business—it’s a tribute to my family’s deep-rooted love for baking and the cherished memories that come with it. Our story begins in the early to mid-1900s in Detroit, where my family owned a bakery called Cloverland. It wasn’t just a place where people came for fresh bread and sweet treats—it was a gathering place, a cornerstone of our community, and most importantly, the heart of our family.
Above the bakery, every Sunday, our family would come together for dinner. The scent of warm bread and pastries would drift upstairs as we laughed, shared stories, and created moments that would last a lifetime. Baking wasn’t just a skill passed down through generations—it was an expression of love, a way of bringing people together, and a reminder that food has the power to nourish not just the body, but the soul.
That same love and tradition are what inspire Little Tita’s Sweets today. Every recipe, every ingredient, and every sweet creation carries a piece of that history—a history built on warmth, family, and the simple joy of sharing something made from the heart. My dream is to bring that feeling to your family’s table, just as my family did for generations before me.
As our business grows, so do the memories we create—both in our own family and in the families who welcome our sweets into their homes. My hope is that every bite of our baked goods reminds you of the simple pleasures in life: the laughter shared over dessert, the comfort of a warm kitchen, and the love that turns any gathering into something special.
From my family to yours, thank you for allowing us to be part of your sweetest moments.
